so let see...
I'm not much of a journal writer so please bare with me if you have the courage to read what I'm writing:) lol.

hmm where to start.. well I finished reading The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory last week or so.. It was such a good book. absolutely LOVED it.. I think I might even read it again (which I NEVER do) so I was all excited about the movie having been released and didn't want to wait for it to come out on dvd but sadly it 's no longer in theatres around here....
so I cheated :shh: and downloaded it. I was so disappointed too:cry: the movie left out so much stuff that was in the novel (and not just oh okay well that wasn't really important anyway kind of stuff) They left out so much. They didn't build their characters very well, Natalie Portman was a terrible Anne (though that's probably because she can't act anyway.. I mean seriously.. anyone who has seen Return of the Sith could not possibly argue against me), They did an absolutely horrendous job of building character relationships.
personally I wouldn't recommend seeing the movie especially if you've read the book.

I liked Philippa Gregory's novel so much that I went to chapters and bought another of her books, The Boleyn Inheritance so far it's really good too I'm almost half way through and I've already been thinking about which novel of her's I'm going to buy next.

All the English history in these two novels (although they pertain to the same English court of the Tudors, Henry VIII in particular and his six wives) have really gotten me into looking up the palaces and some of the main characters mentioned in the novels. I've also gotten absolutely hooked   on the tv show The Tudors which airs on Showtime (and apparently CBC, though I can't find it) which is a station that I don't even get where I live:'(
so I'm going to buy the first season on DVD:XD: so I can watch it whenever I want to.
